Pamela Hooks
Drums for Peace
Teens United Performing Arts Project
At-Risk Youth Arts Immersion Project

Ms. Hooks is a seasoned television producer who has worked on documentaries, news/public affairs and entertainment programming at ABC, NBC as well as producing for The Montel Williams Show, Rolanda, Russell Simmons Television, Lifetime and Discovery. Her HIV/AIDS prevention film (developed for the city of Philadelphia) received the Gracie Allen award  by the National Foundation of American Women in Radio and Television (AWRT).  As a motivational speaker and personal development coach, she works closely with non-profits such as Image and Attitude, which support women making their transition from welfare to work with career clothing and job readiness.  Pam has directed an Arts & Spirituality Center MasterPeace project with “at-risk” youth in Philadelphia which explored the possibilities of being “at-risk” for leadership and potential through the arts.  She is also an artistic leader in the “Teens United Performing Arts Project" -- a partnership of Mothers In Charge and the Arts & Spirituality Center.  And, presently, she is working with Doc Gibbs to develop our new Drums for Peace initiative.
